Arqadia, which has been part of the global Larson-Juhl group of companies since 2000, rebranded as Larson-Juhl UK on 1st January.


Managing director Jonathan Burrage sees this as a significant step in building the company’s credentials and planning for future growth. In the immediate term it is very much business as usual and Jonathan commented:

‘While day-to-day nothing has changed for our customers, we have a new energy and enhanced appetite to deliver the best possible service; with the framing community at the heart of everything we do.  Specifically, we are immensely proud to be the only framing company with such an experienced, professional regional sales team, and those people will remain as the face of the business on the ground.

Longer term, our customers will have access to a wider and unrivalled range of products and services, supported globally and delivered locally.’

The engine that supports the company’s infrastructure has been upgraded and, behind the scenes, internal operations have now been fully aligned with global sister companies to facilitate the sharing of ideas and opportunities very easily. Larson-Juhl UK is now able to react to new trends and introduce new ideas faster than ever before, with access to a wider product offering, creating greater choice.


Jonathan adds:

‘Our rebranding is not the only major undertaking for 2019. It is just part of an ambitious commitment to serve our industry, the market and each and every customer, in a way that ensures we remain and enhance our position as THE go-to supplier of choice. We will continue to listen, and learn about how we can improve our entire offering.

As an example of this, we adapted our operations in the last quarter of 2018 to enable customers to purchase our market leading range of wooden mouldings via our own in-house chop service. This came from open dialogue at one of our Round Table events earlier in the year. In 2019, we will continue to flex our operations to better suit all our customers. 100% of our wooden moulding ranges are now available in chop, length, pack or box. Our new website has greater functionality and easier access. Orders can now be placed faster than through our previous website, enabling our customers to shop how and when they want.

As 2019 progresses, the benefits of being part of Larson-Juhl will be evidenced through new products, services and marketing initiatives.  It is the people in our company and across our industry that define who we are and how we behave. It is this ‘DNA’, this culture, which will remain unchanged – but with new energy and a real appetite to drive growth with our loyal, longstanding and committed customers.’


All email addresses, stationery and social media handles have now changed to Larson-Juhl UK. The company’s head office has been renamed Arqadia House in tribute to the UK brand’s heritage.
