Gaucho, Birmingham – Winner of ‘Most Effective Restaurant Design’ award

The Latest Restaurant Magazine R200 awards awarded a new stylish steak restaurant in Birmingham, Gaucho the prize for ‘Most Effective Restaurant Design’.

BCFA member Pure CF were incredibly proud to manufacture and supply the furniture for a number of Gaucho restaurants up and down the country, and now they can be even more thrilled to see their furniture take centre stage in the award-winning Birmingham restaurant. _MRC1469-HDR-Edit webFrom their factory in Stone, they handmade all the tables, chairs and wall panels, which included wing chairs upholstered in Sunbury Nappa smoke, solid ash tables polished in black, chrome high stools with grey upholstery, deep buttoned wall panelling and fluted fixed seating which all created the distinctive interiors.

The Pue CF craftsmen and women made over 220 individual items of bespoke furniture which now take pride of place in the popular eatery.G 1 webThe restaurant opened earlier last year in Birmingham’s Colmore District and was heralded by local media as the most anticipated restaurant opening in Birmingham of the year. The ‘effective design’ of the restaurant is a new concept that was originally implemented last year at Gaucho’s flagship restaurant in Piccadilly, London.

You can see their talented work in Gaucho restaurants throughout the UK, including; London Towerbridge, Manchester, Chelsea, Leeds, Richmond and more recently for their Edinburgh restaurant which opened to huge acclaim last year.
