Segment

Segment by Kirkby Design is a fun, creative collection of handpainted graphics in a multitude of colours, digitally printed onto 100% recycled cotton from the fashion industry.

The designs were originally hand-painted using watercolours giving the prints a softer, organic edge, while an expressive palette of playful yet ontrend colour combinations find balance with classic neutral shades.

Segment: Sustainable Notes

Using recycled cotton reduces the number of raw materials needed to make new fabrics, helping to conserve natural resources. It also reduces the amount of waste that goes into landfill, and as recycled cotton is often made from high-quality, pre-consumer waste the cloth is just as soft and durable as regular cotton.

All designs have been pigment printed, pigment dyes are more eco-friendly than traditional printing as the water used in the dye is constantly recycled and no harmful chemicals are used.

Wallcoverings Volume 2

Introducing wallcoverings volume 2. A collection of contemporary designs featuring bold, painterly geometrics, contemporary flock, and sophisticated metallics.

Wallcoverings Vol 2 sees coordinating designs from the fabric collections translated into bold wallcoverings, as well as two additional designs Fragment and Tear.

Wallcoverings Volume 2: Sustainable Notes

These wallcoverings are printed on a blended ground of FSC (The Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood pulp and corn fibre. Corn fibre is a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice, as corn is a renewable resource that can be grown and harvested with limited impact on the environment.

Additionally, the manufacturing process produces 30% less greenhouse gas than traditional wallpaper materials, such as vinyls and papers containing polyester.
