Review: Design Shanghai 2017

Sue Graves of The BCFA took 3 wonderful members to Design Shanghai earlier this month; Newmor, Boss Design and Lincrusta. Design Shanghai is well respected in Asia and attracts a good mix of consumers and industry professionals alike. So this event was a great opportunity for these companies to break into this dynamic Asian market.

James Stevenson, Export Director for Imperial commented;

“A new show on the Imperial calendar; Design Shanghai is synonymous with style, trends and inspiration and this is an ideal vehicle for Imperial to showcase their Classical British manufactured products.”

International Sales Director at Boss Design, Andy Watson commented;

“The show was a huge success for us. We saw over 150 companies over the course of the event and have made some very worthwhile contacts. It was encouraging to see so much interest in furniture and design in this part of the world, a market we are bringing Boss Design too in a big way.”

Both Lincrusta and Newmor had a remarkable year at Design Shanghai, and were completely rushed off their feet! Visitors had a chance to preview their new designs, and Newmor showcased their newest Designer collaboration with artist Stephen Walter, pictured below.

Next years Design Shanghai will be unmissable so don’t forget to put the dates in your calendar, Wednesday 14th – 17th March 2018 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre.
